Mr Porter – The Journal I was recently profiled in Mr Porter’s The Journal modelling one of their featured coat trends for AW14, the unstructured overcoat. Photographer Laurence Ellis made my modelling debut feel effortless and the featured Barena coat was as easy to wear as a cardigan (despite the summer temperatures on shoot day).
The Guardian Back in December 2012 I threw my name into a hat with a few hundred other hopeful fashion writers to be considered for The Guardian’s proposed fashion blogging network, their aim being to bring some new voices to their fashion coverage. I was selected and the network was officially launched the following Spring. Since then, I have been commissioned by The Guardian to write on topics such as why men spend more on shoes than women and how to tie (and select) a tie as well as regular posts with editorial selected by me and reviews from both London Collections: Men and New York fashion week. Jigsaw Menswear listed Sharpened Lead in their Best of 2012 Selection
Brands I’ve worked with have included:

I have produced two films showcasing Becky French’s handmade British ties and accessories.
During a trip to L.A. I met the team behind George Guest at a pop-up store in Venice, and gave them their first non-US exposure.
J.Panther Luggage Co.
During a similar trip to New York I met Jonny Diamandis, designer of the J.Panther Luggage range, providing their first coverage in the UK.
E.Tautz postcard project
E.Tautz designer Patrick Grant asked me to collaborate on his postcard project, alongside other menswear commentators and industry figures, as featured in Dazed.
As well as fashion, I like to comment on food and travel. Here I offered a little advice to people visiting Paris:
